Insulin Stacking

Yesterday the Joslin diabetes Center - often described as the world’s foremost diabetes treatment and research hub - published this guide in avoiding Insulin Stacking:

This should be useful for all using insulin no matter which tools you may choose to use for your management.

Thank you! I look forward to reading it - this never made sense to me since you want to cover whatever you eat … I recently FINALLY got some control over my numbers by keeping carbs to a minimum - I know this is a no brained, but due to hormones, my basal/bolus ratios changed week to week.
Thanks again for all your posts throughout the years!

How do you keep carbs to a minimum for a picky four year old child? Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

Keep only healthy options on hand  and enjoy the same in front of them. If they see something they shouldn’t have they’ll most likely want that over something healthier. We struggle with the same as adults.
